NCRA has an exciting opportunity at our Oil Refinery facility in McPherson, Kansas. We are looking for a PSM, Safety, & Training Manager to manage the company process and personal safety, training, and health efforts. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary.

You will:
Initiate the development of comprehensive process and personal safety, health, loss prevention, and industrial hygiene programs and procedures.
Develop and administer safety, loss prevention, training, industrial hygiene, and health procedures and programs.
Ensure that programs and procedures reflect the best available technology and that they conform to all corporate policies and governmental regulations.
Direct the activities of the NCRA Process and Personal Safety, Health and Training Department in the administration of all programs and procedures.
Direct the NCRA Process and Personal Safety, Health and Training Department in specifying, procurement, operation and maintenance of company safety and loss prevention concerns.
Direct the training activities in process and personal safety, loss prevention, and industrial hygiene in the Refining Division.
Act as liaison to those responsible for developing and maintaining safety related programs in other divisions and provide them with information and assistance where needed.
Maintain relationships with local fire and law enforcement agencies and represent the company in dealings with industrial and governmental safety groups.
Ensures that necessary records and reports on accidents, safety inspections, and other related activities are correctly maintained and distributed, as required by company policy and governmental regulations.
Manage and provide guidance to PSM, Safety, & Training staff.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in engineering or engineering technology field
10-15 years of related experience and/or training/education
Extensive refinery knowledge involving process control operations and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of Process and Personal Safety and Health regulations (state & federal)
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
Oil & Gas Industry experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
