Jayhawk Pipeline, LLC has an exciting opportunity at our headquarters location in McPherson, Kansas. We are looking for a Pipeline Engineer to design and maintain operation of company pipeline activities by providing support and knowledge in hydraulics, cost estimating, corrosion, and construction project management. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will:
Evaluate and respond to operational problems requiring engineering solutions.
Perform project engineering and/or project management duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Working with drafting personnel to design pipeline facilities
Preparing cost estimates
Specifying and procuring equipment and materials
Selecting vendors and contractors
Overseeing work and project progress including management of contractors
Approving invoices
Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulatory agencies such as DOT, EPA, OSHA, FERC, KCC and API.
Submit AFE's for approval for company projects.
Reviews budget and expenditures to improve operating and maintenance procedures and costs where possible.
Assists in preparing annual budgets to compare costs with anticipated project operation.
Performs other duties as directed or needed.
Basic
Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in applicable engineering or engineering technology discipline from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
Minimum 2-5 years of industrial experience
Skill in use of various computer programs (including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
Able to travel (largely intrastate) up to 20% of the time
Preferred
Qualifications: (desired)
Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
Working knowledge of DOT regulation Part 195.
Liquid pipeline or petrochemical industry experience.
Drafting experience in AutoCad.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
